Psalm 4:8
Heavenly Father, Thank You for hearing my weary sighs tonight. You relieve me when I am distressed and comfort me when I feel uneasy. When anger, bitterness, and restlessness consume me, I pray that You will give me joy. I pray that joy would be my pillow and that peace would blanket me. Help me to feel safe and secure amid uncertainty and turmoil, so I may harmonize with the song of David, “In peace, I will lie down and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, keep me safe.” Lift my spirit and calm my mind tonight. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, amen.
